Dansa-educa is an activity designed to bring contemporary dance to children in school. It aims to guide the child, giving it the information and resources of this language, dance, not as a virtuous and distant fact, but directed towards artistic sensibility. This project is based on the fact that dance fosters communication, listening, exchanging and respecting others so as to build a joint project. Children participate actively: on one side, as spectators; and in another, as interpreters. They are part of Dansa-educa pieces such as L’HOMENET I EL DESPISTAT, NA LLAUNETA RECICLA, RATATAPLAM and VOLEN, VOLEN, have been part of the program Viu la Cultura from Govern Balear.
